Create your listing
Ready to become a Host? Here’s how to get started with your first listing. It’s simple and completely free!
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Add Salon” - please note you must be logged into your account to create a listing.
Follow the instructions and fill-in all of the information fields to create your listing.

After you complete your listing it may take 24-48 hours before it’s live on the platform. A Chaired representative will contact you if any information appears missing or incorrect.
If you wish to list two or more workspaces on Chaired you should create a separate listing for each. Each listing and each listing’s corresponding calendar should be created for a single and specific workspace. While the salon address and contact information may be the same, make sure to use a different Listing Title for each listing. We suggest you also use a different listing picture to prevent Guest confusion. If you’ve already created one listing, you can create a second listing by following the same process as before.
Add bank Account for Deposits
Next you’ll need to tell us where to deposit your Guest payments. Here’s how:
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Profile”
At the bottom of the page click “Connect to Stripe”
You’ll be taken to a Stripe.com page. Stripe is a secure payment provider so your payment information will be safe and sound! Learn more about Stripe on their website here.
Follow the instructions to add the bank account you wish to use for receiving deposits received from Guests.
Host PayOuts Dashboard
We’ve integrated a Dashboard on your Profile page to view your Stripe account to see a record of Guest payment deposits made into your connected bank account from Chaired.
Here’s how to review your payouts in detail on the Dashboard:
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Profile”
At the bottom of the page click “View Stripe Dashboard”
A pop-up window will take you to a Stripe.com page that shows your Chaired payouts.
Please note: You must have pop-ups enabled in order to view the dashboard. If the dashboard does not appear your browser may be blocking it. If you have a pop-up blocker enabled you should add an exception in your browser settings to allow pop-ups from: https://www.getchaired.com
Block out dates on listing calendar
When a guest books a reservation it will automatically book to your calendar and withdraw payment from the Guest without your prior approval or denial. You can Block Out dates on your listing calendar to control bookings. Guests are unable to book any dates you Block Out.
If there are any days outside of your salon listing’s normal business hours when your station rental should not be booked it's important that you add a blocked date to prevent that date from being booked by a Guest. You should also Block Out any holiday dates on which you don’t want Guests booking your listing.
Here’s how to add and adjust Blocked Dates:
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Your Salons”
Identify the salon listing you wish to edit and click “Edit Blocked Dates”
Click “Add Blocked Date”
Select the date or dates you wish to Block Out.
If you wish to Block one date, set the Start Date and End Date to the date you wish to Block.
If you wish to Block multiple discontinuous dates, add each contiguous date segment one at a time.
You may add as many periods as you wish.
Block All New Bookings
If you need to prevent all possible bookings of your listing you have two options: (1) keep the listing publicly visible but block out all calendar dates; and (2) delete your listing entirely.
1) Keep Listing Public: You can block out all calendar dates simply by editing the posted salon hours of your listing and unchecking all days. Here are the steps:
In the hamburger menu, click “Your Salons”
Identify the salon listing you wish to edit and click “Edit”
Click Next several times until you arrive on the page to set your salon hours
Uncheck every day’s box so that your salon has no listed open days/hours
Continue clicking Next until you’ve gone all the way through the salon listing setup flow
2) Delete Listing: If you need to delete your listing please email us at hello@getchaired.com and we’ll de-list it for you quickly.
Guest Bookings
If you need to view the dates a particular listing has been booked, here’s how:
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Your Salons”
Identify the salon listing you wish to edit and click “View Bookings”
You will see blocks of booking dates by month. Each block of dates represents dates of confirmed bookings for that listing.
Cancellations
The unexpected happens. If you need to cancel a previously confirmed Booking, here’s how:
Go to www.getchaired.com
Click the hamburger menu on the top left of your screen.
Click “Your Salons”
If you have multiple listings each listing’s bookings are viewed separately. Find the appropriate listing and click “View Bookings”
Each of your Bookings will be on a card displaying the booking dates. Find the Booking you wish to cancel and click the “Cancel” link.
A confirmation alert will pop up to confirm you wish to cancel that booking. Click “Yes” if you wish to proceed with the cancellation.
Chaired will provide your Guest a full refund. Please remember that multiple or frequent Host cancellations can lead to throttling or revocation of your Host platform use rights. For additional information please review Chaired’s complete cancellation policy in the Terms of Use.
Advertising Your Listing
If you would like to advertise your listing online, here’s how:
Go to your public listing page.
Copy the url from your browser’s address bar. The url will follow this convention, where # is your specific listing number: https://www.getchaired.com/salon/#
When creating an online add, use your listing URL as the click through link address to direct your ad traffic directly to your listing page.
In select markets, Chaired advertises Host listings directly on various online platforms, including Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
What are some Hosting Best Practices to maximize revenue?
They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so use professional, attractive Listing images to drive greater demand and premium pricing.
The more amenities and services you offer, the more you’ll reduce your Guests’ hassles and improve their experience. Try to anticipate their needs and demands and you’ll be able to increase booking demand and pricing. Common amenities and services include capes, clean towels, work area cleaning, receptionist, roving assistant, secure storage/locker and basic products.
Sometimes Hosts allow their Guests to participate in their salons' product sale commission arrangements. Guests and will appreciate the opportunity for additional income and you’ve just expanded your sales force - win-win!
When a Guest books your listing you will receive an email from Chaired which includes the Guest’s contact information. To help streamline your Guest’s experience you may choose to email them a friendly hello and include any relevant instructions about arriving at your salon and checking‐in to their workstation on their first visit to your salon.
